Motivation and achievement
Personal Development, Shiatsu Practice
It is hard to get motivated sometimes. I write this post seeing that I have a treatment to do tonight. I don’t dislike the client or resent ever having chosen to shiatsu. It is after coming home from the day job it is hard to raise the enthusiasm to go out again.
I expect that anyone studying alongside a full time job struggles with this. It is a hard course to follow sometimes. With so many other distractions trying to fit the theory and practical into one’s personal life can be so wearing. How many of us would prefer to vegetate in front of the television or go out with friends like every normal person?
Although getting motivated to go out can be a struggle I have never regretted what I am doing. Naturally, some treatments are more satisfying than others but looking back over all of my studies I can see real growth in my approach. Even though I have much to learn I have been able to produce real changes in many of my clients; sometimes it is not physical but in how the client sees themselves and their condition.
That is something to be proud of and kept in mind as I prepare for the next treatment .
