Spring Cleaning
Over at the WakoWa Salon, Wako has been writing about spring cleaning. This weekend I finally got around to a tackling a long overdue de-cluttering session. With my Wife I cleared two rooms that were bursting with the accumulated possessions that we have hoarded over the past 10 years.
Hoarding and collecting are activities associated with the Metal element. Metal is the element of autumn, a time when we traditionally gather resources together ready for the winter ahead. It is also the element of the Lung and Large Intestine organs which, as I have written before, are about borders and exchange of Ki.
This spring clean for me then was necessary activity given my recent writings. Far from being a chore it turned out to be a welcome task.
