I rarely find time to browse for information and I’m not that IT literate but the meridains are really good for helping to visualise where they are. More importantly they are so easy to use.

    Thank you

This is SUCH a wonderful web page - your blogging is really interesting reading. I’ve just been re-reading about the life cycle of the Amoeba in relation to shiatsu, and then to be finding your musings here…well, it’s helpful! ; not to mention the fact that here’s a point of connection with another shiatsu person doing the practice of shiatsu thing. The Sat Nav post had me grinning!!!!! - can really visualise that. &The meridian graphics are just wonderful!!!!!! Thanks.

Meridian Charts

Study Aids, Zen shiatsu (Masunaga)

Last week I promised that I had some exciting new ideas for ShiatsuBlogger. I am now pleased to announce that the first of these ideas has come to fruition.

I have implemented an interactive meridian chart page.

masunaga heart meridianTo use the chart hover your mouse over the hara or back back diagnostic area. This will not only display the related meridian chart but also the corresponding diagnostic area on the back or hara respectively.

Clicking on the diagnostic area will display an article on that organ.

In the true spirit of Masunaga’s diagrams my charts are pretty free when it comes to anatomical accuracy. They are provided as a guide only but I do hope you find them a useful guide.

As always I welcome your feedback and look forward to improving these charts with your assistance.
