The Bladder
The Bladder is the Yang organ paired with the Kidneys. It is not a leap of the imagination to see why it is an organ of the Water element. Its function in TCM is to transform and excrete urine!
Despite its simple description its meridian runs from above the eyes, over the head, down the back and into the toes. It is a very long meridian. It therefore has some influence in back pain and the action of the nervous system.
