Hara Diagnosis. Response from ShiatsuCentre.Net

Personal Development

I have received responses to my post on ShiatsuCentre.Net about the needs of the giver and the energetic connection that is made during a Hara diagnosis.

Randall B Sexton says:

I think it’s very important that we consider our needs and our health as healers. Many of us originally start out as “wounded” whereas, for example, physicians are “wounded” by their training. Our training tends to heal us and we should aways be aware of “ourselves” in the context of working with others. Recently my shaman teacher told of a young male student working with a beautiful girl who he diagnosed as having a root chakra problem. Turns out it was the student with a root chakra problem!

Clifford Andrews says:

Yes you are right -because the Hara diagnosis is an interactive phenomena between you and the client if your field is more dominant you will get your own diagnosis.

This is why exercises to get in touch with your own Ki and also being able to quieten ourselves is so important…

Thank you to Randall and Clifford for responding to me. As to the state of my Small Intestine, I think that deserves its own post.
